NSYA Policy Paper – Class Associations as NSYA Members A Model for NSYA Recognized Classes NSYA Recognized Class status does not confer status as a CYA member cub, and so does not confer status as an organizing authority for races to be sailed under the Racing Rules of Sailing. NSYA recognized Class status provides the following services: · Opportunity for direct representation and input to NSYA Board of Directors meetings The Nova Scotia ASPN/PHRF fleet is the founding NSYA Recognized Class, represented to the NSYA Board of Directors by the NSYA Chief Handicapper, and with annual fees waived. Ordinarily, fleets are represented by their President, or some other designated official. |
