Nova Scotia Yachting Association Approved by the NSYA Board of Directors, March 8, 2005, revised March 2011Payment Date All Candidates must pay at least four weeks prior to the start date of the clinic to guarantee a space in the Clinic. Requirements All Candidates must have the following prior to the clinic starting:

Note: Candidates will not be able to challenge their levels at the Clinic or during the Tune Up Clinic. Attendance Candidates must attend all of the Clinic. Candidates unable to attend part of the Clinic must discuss their situation with the Learning Facilitator prior to the start of the Clinic in order to receive permission. Failure to attend all of the Clinic may lead to a failing mark. Cancellation Fees If a Candidate wishes to cancel, they will be charged the following
Professionalism All Candidates must exhibit a level of professionalism which consists of the following:
Candidates’ level of professionalism should mimic that which would be required in a learn to sail environment. Responsibilities All Candidates are responsible to bring the following to the clinic:
Tune Up Clinics (Spring Candidates Only) All Candidates are required to attend the Tune Up clinic prior to the instructor clinic. CYA Policy The Canadian Yachting Association has its own policy guide which also must be followed at all times throughout the clinic. |
