Two RNSYS sailors were the top Canadian boat at the 420 North American Championships at Buffalo Canoe Club this week. Julien Fougere and Henry Machum, just back from representing Canada at the Worlds, came 9^th.

There was a total of 113 boats competing with 5 boats from Nova Scotia.   Fougere and Machum had five top 5 finishes in a close battle for first overall.   Also competing from the Squadron were Ted Murphy and Taylor Shaw (26^th), Max Flinn and Andrew Burns (35) Alison Surette and Minute Murphy (43), Ellie Wollmann and A. K. Turner (54) Antonia Lewin-LaFrance and Amy Minnikin (86).  Danielle Boyd was the coach for the Nova Scotia Sailors.
