| SMSC Sailors Capture NSYA 420 Championship |
 Ryan Gallant and Matthew Akin captured the NSYA 420 Circuit Championships this year after finishing in 4th place at Kennedy Cup Regatta held last week at the Royal Nova Scotia Yacht Squadron.Gallant and Akin earned 16 circuit points at the regatta to jump from 4th to 1st overall. Rounding out the top three overall were Mitchell Shaw and Emma Hillier from the Northern Yacht Club in 2nd place and Steve Leblanc and Stephen Cantwell also from NYC in 3rd place. The 2010 Circuit had 4 stops, 2 in Halifax and 2 in Cape Breton. Sailors had to compete in at least three of the 4 regattas. 39 teams took part in the circuit. Full results can be found here. |
