By finishing in 2nd place, Allison qualifies for the Canadian team which will travel to the 2011 World Championships which will be held in Auckland, NZ in December 2011.

Max Flinn of the Chester Yacht Club and COAST programs finished in 4th position while Jeremy Fraser of RNSYS & COAST was 9th.

 

Nova Scotian sailors were coached at the competition by Jeff Bethune.

More than 85 competitors took part in the competition.

 

COAST is celebrating it's 10th anniversary this year and is the most successful Optimist Racing program in Canada.
