Sport Fund deadline
Twice a year NSYA members have the opportunity to apply for funding from the Sport Nova Scotia Sport Fund. This fund supports coaches, officials, and sailing programs and is an excellent way to help finance a project or new initiative.
Full details including application forms can be found on the Sport Nova Scotia website.
Applications must be received by NSYA no later than Monday, February 23 so they can be reviewed and endorsed.
If you do plan to apply, please discuss your project with Frank Denis at the NSYA office to see if it meets Sport Fund criteria.

Commodores Meeting at Boat Show
The NSYA invites all its member clubs, sailing schools, and class associations to send a representative to attend a Commodores Meeting held in conjunction with the Halifax Boat Show.
The meeting will be held at Exhibition Park from 1pm - 3pm on Sunday, February 22. All those who attend the meeting will receive a free pass to the Boat Show.
The meeting will be an excellent opportunity to hear about NSYA's 2009 plans as well as share information about your club's plans this year.
Please RSVP to the NSYA office no later than February 12 so that we can mail you your boat show pass. Passes will not be available for pick-up at the Show.
